TYPES OF GLASS

Color glass

Glass in various colors helps to bring a lot of design ideas to life.

Glass can be colored in different ways. It can be colored at the stage of its production by adding a special coloring component in its composition. Thus, you can get gray glass (also called graphite), that is often used for facade glazing and high-tech interior decoration. For those clients who prefer a classic style we would recommend glass bronze with a brown tint. Physical properties of colored glass are identical to those of ordinary glass: it is transparent, and can be treated in any way regular glass can, for example it can be hardened.

Laminated glass

Fantasy without borders

Using EVA film and decorative fillers to create laminated glass helps to get a solid and secure piece of glass in variety of colors or even in a design pattern.

Tempered glass

Safety

Tempered glass is used when high mechanical strength, relatively high thermal stability and security are required. Due to these features tempered glass is widely used in architecture and interior elements. It is ideal for making glass stairs, doors, walls, and fences, as well as glazing childcare facilities and greenhouses.

Tempered glass makes it possible to further decorate matte paintings, painting, application of UV printing. All these provide theoretically unlimited opportunities for the use of tempered glass in any interior.

Decorative glass

Giving your interior a unique charming atmosphere.

Decorative glass represents several pieces of laminated glass, that are connected with a transparent polymer film. This type of glass has lots of advantages: it is not only very strong and resistant to mechanical damage due to its structure, but also does not scatter into small pieces when broken. In addition it improves the sound isolation of plastic windows and prevents the penetration of ultraviolet rays.

Decorative glass is often used to give an interior a unique charming look. The use of different transparent materials overflow brilliant fiber weave and a unique shape in production of safety glass will make your windows unique. Laminated glass can be used not only in windows, but also interior and even furniture.

Stained glass

Stained glass: color filling for your interior

A few centuries ago humanity invented a special color of multi-colored glass – stained glass. But it is often used even today to create comfort and to fill the room with unusual colors that will highlight any detail of interior and protect the room from anybody looking from outside, while playing in colorful reflections under sunlight or refract rays. Stained glass windows have always been and remain stylish and elegantly decorated windows.

Glass sandblasting

Feel like a designer

Sandblasting of the glass is performed by damaging the surface with sand, that is sprayed around the surface with airflow.

Nowadays there are 4 kinds of sandblasting.

Deep sandblasting: on glass or mirror image is applied in volumetric 3D. Deep and capacious engraving is carried out as well. The specialist can sculpture glass using this technology.

Colored sandblasting is used not only to create color images, but also those that are glowing in the dark. Such an attitude makes an image strikingly realistic and creates an illusion of stained glass.

Sandblasting printing creates a matte image with a velvety texture. Roughness and relief is regulated along the treatment process.

Sandblast engraving or “cutting sand” is used in cases where a high degree of pattern or ornament  details are needed

Patterned glass

Special type of decorative glass with repeated relief pattern on one of its surfaces

It can be colorless, colored and frosted. The choice of color and pattern is almost limitless, which allows the designer to choose the glass that best meets the customer’s requirements.

Glass blocks

They allow you to create an entire composition.

Glass blocks have a lot of advantages, including a significant role in interior decoration. This material has excellent sound isolation and thermal insulation properties. Glass blocks contain vacuum cavity that helps to regulate a room temperature and keeps warm air inside. These structures tolerate temperature drops very well. They can be used in aggressive environment a, which allows to use them in production areas of the chemical industry. It is very durable building material, which is completely safe and can be used not only as ordinary window glass.

Glass blocks are relatively light, they do not allow dust and moisture in, as well as they meet all the requirements of fire safety. They let a lot of light into the room, and their surface can be easily cleaned. Thanks to rich colors of glass blocks they can easily fit and add special charm to any interior. Combining and alternating series of smooth glass blocks with matte glass blocks, as well as combining variety of colors, textures and sizes, can help you to create an originally designed room. Besides this, there is one more advantage of lass blocks over other materials: they are not afraid of moisture. Therefore, they can be used in places with high humidity: pools, water parks, saunas and bathrooms. Also many of qualitative characteristics of glass blocks are comparable to other building materials such as bricks.

Mirrors

Archaeologists have discovered first small mirrors made of tin, gold or platinum that can be related to the Bronze Age. Modern history of mirrors is counted from the XIII century: from 1240, when Europe learned to blow glass vessels. The invention of a glass mirror can be referred to 1279, when Franciscan John Peckham described a method of covering glass with a thin layer of tin.

Mirror is almost the most popular item of interior decoration. They are used for several centuries. Earlier on paintings were luxury items, today they can be seen in every apartment and office. Decorative mirrors manage to emphasize the individual style of the room, to make it more original and complete. It is important that their production would be carried out in accordance with all regulations.
